Chamberlan MyQ vs Genie

I have been controlling my dore with both a RATGDO and also a Shelli Uni (from before I had the RATGDO - backup that I never have to use…) as the relay - never had this issue.

What wall button model number? The 888 were silently warrantied due to the capacitors going bad and causing these issues. Chamberlain replaced them with 889 buttons.

I don't seem to have an 888 or an 889. The back of mine only has part number 001-9975-00-N07. It is this one: Chamberlain 001-9975-00 Garage Door Wall Button Control Console Light – Garage Door Info Spot

Oddly enough....it JUST happened. I am pretty confident that it is related to the usage of the zen17. I have 3 garage doors. Only 2 are connected to smart home via the zen17. The 3rd door has never done this. More so, it does seem to happen after a door open or close cycle. Just now I opened the door with the smart home, but when I was in the garage I noticed the button was not working.

I did notice that in the zen17 parameters, I had it set with an R1/R2 auto ff time as 1 second. I wonder if repeated full second "button press" situation overloads the system? I just changed it to zero to see if that does anything. I had it at 1 because the old openers didn't work reliably with it set to 0 seconds.

For my Z16s/17s I've used over the years for my GDO, using a 1" auto-off time was always sketchy. I've been using a 2" auto-off for a long while now, and that's been working well.

I also have a backup RM rule that turns off the relay if it somehow ends up staying on for 4".
