Centralite devices now available on Amazon

Happen to notice that Centralite is now selling their devices on Amazon again. This includes the awesome Temp/Humidity sensor, contact sensor, smart out,et, water leak sensor, Pearl Thermostat, etc:

Sure you can buy the Iris versions of these cheaper on eBay but not all devices like the temp/humidity sensor are available there.

Nice share. No shipping to Canada unfortunately, but cool they’re available at all.

I spotted this too. I've got one of the temperature/humidity sensors on the way.

Do you know - are they back in business? Or are they selling off old stock?

They were acquired by Ezlo which appears to be resurrecting them...

It appears after the Chapter 7 announcement of Centralite, they were purchased by eZLO:

What's interesting is the Amazon listing does not list the Ezlo hubs... the new "Atom" hub isn't listed neither is the Vera Plus. The Vera Plus is on life support with limited info on continuation but the Atom is newly released so I would expect it to be listed.

Awesome! Sounded before like they were just going to be a service provider, but to also have them available on a regular basis is a huge advantage. Some of the nicest and most reliable Zigbee products around.

Be nice to know if the mini plug has the z-wave repeater in it. Asked a Q on AMZ, maybe they'll respond.

I don't believe so looking at the specs and datasheet on Centralite's website:

You may want to try calling to confirm. Phone number is at bottom of that page.

Both the mini-plug and standard plug do say:

  • Built-in ZigBee repeater provides additional coverage for other nearby ZigBee devices.

Just in different parts of the listing.

Doubtful. That was an special for Iris OEMed by Centralite. None of the Centralite-branded zigbee devices had a z-wave repeater built-in.

And it barely works. Bought 5, only 1 paired z wave

Getting the Iris 3210-L's Z-Wave repeater to pair is a bit tricky, for sure. I had the most luck pairing in the same room as the Hubitat Hub. Then I moved them all to their final locations and ran a Z-Wave repair. They've all been working fine ever since.

I can’t even get them into pairing mode

Yep, that is the first challenge. There are a few threads in the community describing the process. The steps can vary slightly depending on the firmware version on your 3210-L. The process I had the most success with was with the Hubitat Hub in Z-Wave pairing mode, the press the 3210-L's button 8-10 times very quickly (i.e. do NOT wait for the relay to click on and off.) It has to be done very quickly in rapid succession. Watch the Hubitat pairing screen while doing so to look for signs of life.

Thanks.

I can read. I was asking about z-wave, not zigbee.

All true.

I picked up 5 of them and every one seems to have paired up using different sequences of resets, exclusions, button presses, and standing on one's head whilst looking at the sun and biting either the left or right side of my tongue. However, I did get all of them to finally pair up the z-wave repeater.

Great news, I like their devices. However, I have found both my Centralite Water Sensors with dead batteries, never reported a low charge to HE.

Let me know how it pairs. I don't see it on the compatible device list.

I'm hoping it will pair as the SmartThings device. I will report my success or failure.
