Caseta Pro Switches only with Pro Bridge?

Need to get a Caseta system for my Father-in-law in his new condo to solve some wiring problems.

Wanting to leave future options open, I am going to get the Pro version of the bridge in case I ever want to integrate with Hubitat.

However, I see they have listings for "Pro" Switches and Dimmers... so it raises questions which I thought I would pose to the experienced folks here.

  • Is there a real difference between the "Pro" and standard versions of the switches?
  • Do you have to use "Pro" Switches and dimmers with the Pro bridge?
  • Do non-pro Caseta devices work with the Pro Bridge?

You do not have to use pro switches and pro dimmers with the pro bridge.

@cstory777 answered your questions. So I'll stick to this one. The Pro dimmers/switches handle a larger load than the non-pro variety.

All Caséta devices work with the Pro Bridge.

Very good to know. I don't have Lutron at my house, but may consider for the future and the Garage is one of the areas on my list to expand the Smarts.. Higher load could be useful here.
