Caseta motion override not working

I've been messing with this for several days now and am banging my head against the wall. I cannot for the life of me get a motion lighting override to work with a Caseta dimmer and pico remote. Neither the wall dimmer nor the pico will cause the light to NOT turn off after the motion timer expires. It will override the level, but will always turn off. What am I doing wrong here, or is this just a quirk of the Caseta devices?

I could be that a bug has creeped back into this one. Happened in the past, but I don't know if @bravenel has made any changes lately that could be related.

You mention pico, but I'm uncertain how that relates. Are you using a button on Pico to disable off? If so, I would have expected to see something like this.

If you can post your app events, that will be helpful to Bruce to assist you in troubleshooting the issue.

Here's the logs. I enter the room and motion turns on the light. I then lower the dimmer, which I expect should override the automation until the dimmer is turned off, but then the motion timeout occurs and the motion app then turns off the switch, effectively ending the override. The second attempt is using the Pico instead of the physical dimmer to lower the lights. Basically I want the Pico level change to initiate the override which it appears to do, but the app turns off the switch ending the override. I get that turning the switch off will end the override, but the app shouldn't be the one turning off the switch since it's supposed to be overridden, unless I'm just not understanding how exactly this is supposed to work. Not sure why I'm getting those errors either. I didn't notice them yesterday.
