Mine's a GSD..
My idiot Rhodesian Ridgeback wants to go out all the time. She is never like that when there isn't snow. Doesn't she know that she was bred in Africa where it is hot?????
My princess doesn’t like to go out if it is raining. I live in western Oregon. It rains a lot.
Edit: my profile pic is her.
Have to say, in the pic she does look like she's worrying about the rain a little. ![]()
Grandson performed an "experiment" today.
Pulled a wet shirt from the laundry before it made it to the dryer to see how long it would take to freeze solid.
2 minutes, 55 seconds. 2 minutes over his original hypothesis.
It was -3 at the time.
Feels like you need a second home down our way....

I am a tough Midwesterner. We used to walk to school in temps like this because my dad worked the swing shift at the mill. Sometimes a neighbor with the Volvo would give us a ride to school. Nobody in our neighborhood had a foreign car except for this guy.
And those of us who grew up on air conditioning, we thank you for freeing up the fossil fuels for us to use ... ![]()

I'd hate to see what happens when the wind comes from the north!
Obviously. Frozen dead people cannot use computers.

That lasted about 48 hours and they buried that stupid idea. I switches to Cherry after this. I don’t trust that this turd of an idea won’t float to the top of the bowl again.
Any railroads hiring down there?
not sure.... I'm out of that game now, not that I was truly in it, just in an IT role a few steps removed, and only in coal logistics .... I believe it is still going relatively strong, but for how long I am not sure. Plenty of merger and acquisition activity...
Probably easier just holiday down here, would cost a lot less given the exchange rate.
I’m actually working on a career transition to cybersecurity, but I won’t be ready to fully transition for a few years unless I get a really good offer! Railroading here isn’t what it was.
