She liked the sound of the town name, figured we could find a quaint little board house there….and knew it must be popular because of all the directional signs pointing the way🙄

Just realized that after all my time on these forums I never posted in this thread.

Here's mine. It's a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition in Granite Crystal.

I bet it won't go as high as Musk's Tesla

Does your wife think it's the Wrangler Unlimited Attitude Edition? :wink:

@kevin_wilcox didn’t take a photo of the inside of his Bimmer (a Beemer is a motorcycle) but I found one:

My dad bought my mom a brand new Ford Granada in 1976. It leaked oil until the fifth trip to the dealer fixed it.

When it was broken in, after about 500 miles, I took it on the highway to see what it would do. Foot smashed to the floor, straightaway for miles, it would only do 70mph. This was the malaise era. Dad had Sears put a cruise control on it, and after the 6th trip back to Sears, they took it off and refunded his money.

Always nice to see a clean car, inside and/or out.

What model? I had an 03 325 with automatic transmission and I swapped the shifter boot for a standard transmission one for cosmetic reasons. I couldn't afford a full transmission swap. :grin:

It's an '03 530i Sport edition with the "special anti-theft option" otherwise known as a 5 speed manual transmission.

My Holy Grail is an E39 series M5. I would take that over a 2025 M5.

Funny enough, I learned to drive on a Manual to be able to drive anything, so I had 3 pedals to think about. Now with my EV, I basically only need to focus on 1, with a second there in case of emergency…

My first BMW was a 1995 530i (small block V8) that sadly lacked your anti-theft device. Loads of fun otherwise, but I did wish I had been more patient when shopping and waited for a manual transmission to be available. Putting in a Conforti chip and using Sport mode on the auto tranny did make it a little more fun. :slight_smile: Miss that car...

I took my driving test with a stick. In the winter. With a RWD Plymouth Duster. Up hill both ways. (3/4 are true).

Hah...MY driver's test was in a 1974 VW bus, four rubbery gears on the floor, zero power, but amazing visibility out many windows. Loved that thing...

My first Beamer was a 2001 530i. It was a fabulous car. When it was getting a bit old I gave it to my son and got the bi-turbo 330i. I'm now in a 2018 530i.

Grrr :scream::innocent:

And I don’t use those “E” type numbers - just year and model. I’m such a heretic!
