I moved, and decided to do a clean setup at the new house. I was able to re-pair all my devices flawlessly, except the Sylvania OSRAM Lightify Flex strips. Hubitat will not find those. Hubitat found them when I originally set them up at the old house. I have put them into pairing mode, so that's not the problem. They are Zigbee devices. Hubitat just doesn't "see" them - anymore.
Has Hubitat excluded them for some reason? Did they get left out of a recent update? Is there a special step, just for strip lights?
My only problem with the Lightify Flex strip was to reset it so can be paired again. Pairing itself wasn't a problem at all.
My both indoor and outdoor strips are the made by Ledvance version though.
There are some wrong information on web when I tried to reset it. Some said turn on/off 5 times, some said 5s between each on and off... I almost gave up until I found the official method from their faqs, it's 2s on 5s off for 5 times and succeeded in first trial.
also if they blink hubitat found it.. it will reuse the existing device and sometimes i have seen it not tell you anything but just be there with the same old device name it used to have.. check your device list..
(Reminder of topic: I moved, and at my new place, I updated Hubitat, and re-paired all my devices. My Sylvania Lightify color light strip would go into pairing mode, blink when I tried to pair as if they were pairing with Hubitat, but wouldn't show up in the device list.)
Eventually, I gave up and replaced the Sylvania light strip with a Sengled light strip. (Unrelated: The Sengled light strip is a color strip, but Google saw it as a White strip only.)
4 months later, the Sengled strip stopped working. At all. No power.
I went back to my Lightify strips, which now (several Hubitat updates later) paired and work fine.
