Can't log into the hub from Smartphone

Hello all,

I contacted support this morning, pending a reply sometime tomorrow, hoping this smart crowd has some ideas in the meantime

Connecting to 192.168.xx.xx from my laptop works fine, can't connect via smartphone
My dashboards don't work from the smartphone either, work fine from my laptop

I confirmed my IP address through the settings page
Tried rebooting the hub, tried http://192.168.xx.xx
FW 1.0.9.119

Thoughts?

the #1 most obvious question is.. what subnet is your smartphone on? Unless it too has a 192.168.xx.xx address, they won't find each other.

Your phone's wifi is on and has joined the same wifi network that your laptop has?

Thanks csteele, apparently my phone had dropped off wifi, once connected all is good now

noip.com register a name, port forward to that hub ip address, lock it down and you have remote capability

We do not recommend that anyone port forward their hubs on the internet.
