I have a C-7 hub and it has been working for 2 years since purchase. I had my Eero reserve a IP address for it. Recently, I am not able to connect to the hub from the browser using it reserved IP address. I go to Eero and I don't see it in the list of connected devices. But it seems to be working because the automation seems to work. But alexa and homekit stops working. Any idea how I can fix this issue? I don't mind buying a new hub, I would definitely hate it if I lost all my smart home setup and start from scratch again.
Well - you can try a network reset and see if it is found by your router. Instructions are linked to below:
There is an off chance that the network interface is dead, which is not a situation that is easy to recover from. Unless you have cloud backups, this will require you to set up a new Hubitat from scratch.
Either try the network reset or just unplug for 30 seconds and plug it back in again.
Very rarely they will sometimes get knocked off the LAN and not able to recover for some odd reason, until you restart it.
Might not be a bad idea to follow up with a manual reboot > advanced and do a database rebuild. Just in case something got corrupted from the forced power down.
Oh also if you really want to avoid yanking power you could try disconnecting and reconnecting the Ethernet cable from either end.
