Thank you for all your support in advance, Im new here and I have been playing with my new Hubitat, I have been trying to find where to create Global Variables but apparently my Hub does not have that option. My firmware version is 2.3.2.141 and when I go to the rule machine it does not give me the option to create the GV, attached is a screenshot, if somebody can help me I will appreciate it a lot.
Global Variables are/were a Rule 4.x feature. In the latest hub platform and Rule version, Rule 5.x, they have effectively been replaced by hub variables, which are now available for use (without connectors necessary) by theoretically any app, though they were first featured most prominently in Rule 5.0. These are created in Settings > Hub Variables. See: Hub Variables - Hubitat Documentation
So, basically Global Variables are not available anymore, however, hub variables are the ones available now. Is it right to say that Hub Variables can be used the same way Global variables were used before?
