I've read every post I can find on failure to connect to new router, but have not been successful.
I am currently running Hardware: C7 and Platform Version: 2.3.8.134
When I do an advanced search for my hub by MAC address, I can find the hub, but it fails to connect when I try and select it. I try and connect by entering the IP into the web browser and it won't connect.
I can see the client in the AX1800 router’s advanced settings page by MAC address and assign it a DHCP server static IP address, but I still cannot get it to connect.
I have reset the IP address on the bottom of the C7 hub but cannot connect.
I've tried connecting to the old router and shutting it down and then connecting to the new router and identifying the IP address, but it won't connect
Any thoughts or help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
Have you tried changing the network settings on the hub to either autonegotiate or fixed 100, whichever is the opposite of what you currently have. I would also suggest updating the hub to the newest firmware as there were some network fixes in .139.
Are you attempting a wired or wireless connection ?
Thanks for the suggestions. I updated to .139 and changed from fixed 100 to auto negotiate. Neither of these solved the issue. However, I did find the problem: in the router there is a Device Isolation tab that allows devices to be listed by MAC address to prevent internet security threats. I removed the HUB from this list and it is now discoverable. Thanks again for your help.
