Cant connect to hub locally - i'm getting desperate [SOLVED]

I have been at this for a few weeks, on and off, trying things. Nothing i try works.

I cant connect to my hub locally anymore. I can connect to it remotely. All settings are good, it seems.
IP is correct. Cross checked via the router and in the hub.

  • Hardware version: C-7
  • Platform version: 2.4.0.151
  • Router: UDM Pro
  • Connection: Ethernet / wired
  • main VLAN: 192.168.1.*
  • IOT VLAN: 192.168.20.*

Disabled all firewall rules regarding internal traffic and all traffic rules.
Hub is not pingeble from LAN.
Used ip and local address to connect. Both failed.

1 browser says address is not reacheble. An other browser says it took to long to connect to the address.
I tried on android (mobile phone and tablet) and via the computer.
i also tried turning off and on the vpn. So connecting with vpn active and connecting without vpn active. Both didnt work.
The issue already was pressent before updating the software of the hub. Updating didnt help.

Controling the lights works just fine, so it is possible to send commands via the phones dashboard.

So, im running out of ideas here.... Please help me getting some insight.
Perhaps something is wrong with settings in the udm pro router, wich i didnt thing about?

Move it to the same vlan as your PC as a test.

Almost certainly is the issue

Solved.
Did some digging with the Ubiquiti helpdesk. 1 rule was faulty. However, this was a new rule i just put in after upgrading to the new udmpro security UI. Still not sure why it didnt work before i did the updrade to the new UI.

So.... If you have a udmpro and get the same problem.... Dont use the rule to block inter vlan traffic internal to internal.
Just

  • Block VLAN Gateway access,
  • block internal per vlan from local networks to 1 rule for each remaining zone,
  • exept DMZ. Dont need DMZ block rule.
