hub model C7, I don't know what platform version, since I can't connect. I can't try most suggestions because I can't get into the hub interface. I have tried resetting, but that hasn't worked.
I am able to connect to the Dashboard via the phone app, and I can see that my devices are communicating, so it's working but I can't change anything.
I go to "Hubitat Portal my Hub" and it doesn't find anything on it's own with waiting. When I enter the MAC address it appears, but when I click on it the page that comes up says "This page isn't working."
I'd try to do a network reset

If this is with Firefox, it is a known bug right now, I think there was a post about it a day or so ago.
Try the network reset button procedure above, it likely will fix your issue.
You could also try to get to the diagnostic tool, use the hub's IP address with :8080 8081. For example, I would enter 192.168.0.135:8080 192.168.0.135:8081 to get to my device.
It is bad enough I typed it out wrong once, but to do it twice!

All,
Thank you for the ideas. I'm using Chrome on a MacBook Pro. I've already tried resetting using the "count to 7 and pray" button more than once. And I've tried using :8081 and still get the same error page. It seems that the address given isn't correct, but I don't know how to find the correct address or force it to use a new one. I've spent a lot of time looking at these forums, so I suspect this won't be low-hanging fruit.
Need to find correct ip of the hub ... ways to find it are ..
- login to your router and look for ip of hub
- use habitat ( https://findmyhub.hubitat.com )
- use a program to find it. ( https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com )
go to http://hubitat.local:8081
Or look in your router's DHCP table and see what ip it was assigned or create a DHCP reservation so it's the ip you want it to be. (make sure that ip isn't taken by something else)
Update: I continued to have no luck with Findmyhub.hubitat or the :8081 port. I used IP Scanner Pro to find the IP address, but again, with no luck. All of the devices it found quickly were under the address 10.0.1.x, but the address the MAC address led me to was 74.133.151.206. I instructed the IP Scanner to find things at 74.133.151.x and it found :206 (and many others??) and fwiw confirmed it had ports like :8081. I assigned an IP address (10.0.1.30, which was open), I tried the 7-seconds button twice, to no avail. So I rebooted the router and the Wifi hub, just for kicks. Still no go. It's been a few hours, maybe I need to wait longer?
Next ideas? I'm at a loss.
Thank you!
OP
This definitely sounds like a lan problem that needs correcting. Do you have multiple routers acting as wifi access points?
No. Only one modem, one wifi router, and one extender.
A clue perhaps: when I go into the wifi hub utility (AirPort) there's an "internet" tab and the iPv4 address is 74.133.152.10, which is related to the reported address of the Hubitat. On the "network" tab, the Router mode is DHCP and NAT, but if I change it to DHCP Only, the DHCP range changes from "10.0.1.2 to 10.0.1.200" to "74.133.152.2 to 200". Of course, I know little about what any of the means, but somehow the assigned Public IP isn't getting translated to the Private IP correctly or something?
Do not use the Wan port on the air port. That is likely causing the secondary network. In the airport turn off dhcp and then connect the lan port direct to your router
tl:dr It's working now. Thank you!
When I tried to fix the port mix up (I figured it would be something simple, but obscure) I couldn't get anything to work anymore. I'm sure this was user error, but I also came to terms with the fact that I was still using an Airport Express, and while it has certainly been a good servant for a long time, it was probably time to graduate to something more contemporary. Imagine my dismay at the aesthetics of new Wifi routers, as compared to my Airport Express! But it works, and now (almost) everything is working again, including my Hubitat, with only one round of 7 seconds of prayer.
Thank you for the help, I hope I never need it again.

Just remember not to use the WAN ports on anything but your main router KISS principal applies Make sure DHCP is off on everything but your main router. Glad you got it worked out.
