Can't connect/find my C3 hub

Hello,

My C3 (don't laugh) has been running fine til this AM
Current 2.3.2.141 IIRC
Blue light is solid

Most automations are working, not all
Can find it via Advance Discovery IP, MAC, nor from IP:8081 using the tool
Can't ping the known IP
Pulled the ethernet cable
Rebooted the router
Pulled the power plug and rebooted the hub, still Blue and can't find it
Device/MAC/IP not showing up in the Google WiFi device settings page

We leave on vacation tomorrow and would really like for this to be resolved

Thoughts?

There is a possibility that the ethernet interface is dead.

Do you see a link light on the device the hub is connected to. May want to try a different Ethernet cable.

There is no link light capability on the Google WiFi hub it's plugged into, at least that I know of
A new Ethernet cable didn't help
I can't ping the IP nor see it from Google WiFi

I just unplugged it, will wait ~30 mins and try again, if it's indeed dead, them my automation run has reached it's end. We plan to spend our disposable $$$ in other areas

Thanks everyone for the help

Sorry to hear that - very similar thing happened to one of my 2 C4s - ended up swapping BOTH of them out for C5 & C7...

Always good to have a spare on hand just in case.

Hey gang,

Just got back from 7 weeks on the road in the RV exploring the Pacific North West. What beautiful country.

Since my hub was down when we came home and the house was dark, had to fumble around for lights and such...

Decided to plug the hub back in for one last hoorah as they say and....... it's working again, go figure. Took a backup, updated to the last code, everything seems to be working normally. Sure can't explain it

Anyway, long live my C-3

That's cool (both trip AND HE reviving!) but man I dunno if I'd trust it after that...

Yeah the trip was amazing

As for HE, my wife and I decided many months ago that when the HE went down, the hobby ended. Do I trust it, no, however it's not my security system either so going back to using light switches, manually setting the alarm... sure

The one automation I will try and get figured out w/o HE is hot water circulation, water is so freakin expensive here in San Diego, hate standing there letting water run down the drain waiting for it to get hot
