I am a new HE user and have my hub setup an ready to add devices. I’ve tried pairing an Aqaba motion sensor and a Enbrighten wall switch with no luck. I’ve tried every way possible but no luck. I’ve put the devices 4’ from the hub and in paring mode but the hub times out with no results every time. Could I have a defective hub or am I missing something?

The Aqara products are problematic because many of them do not conform to the zigbee standard. They work for some people, but you'll find lots of threads in these pages about how troublesome they are. Not saying they can't be made to work, but definitely not what I would start with.
What's the model # of the Enbrighten wall switch? Have you tried performing a factory reset on the switch first? That can often make the pairing process smoother.
Can you check to make sure your zigbee radio is on and what channel it's on? Zigbee is particularly sensitive to wifi interference. Channel 20 seems to be a good compromise for most people.

Also, some devices do not work on some Zigbee channels. I have had good luck with channel 20.

Yep the Konke humidity and temp sensors are one such device - 15, 20 or 24 I think.. I am using channel 15.

Thanks, I’ve sent back the Aqaba motion sensors and will order something else. I’m using the GE/Jasco 43076 switch. My settings are correct and I’m on channel 20. I reset the Zigbee radio and did a factory reset on the switch and it worked!! Thank you for the help. Now I can start adding more devices. I’m an old Insteon user and need to slowly migrate to HE as my Insteon hub life is limited.
