I created an app in Rule Machine that resets a global variable based on outside air temperature. Is there a way to use this variable in Thermostat Scheduler as a cooling setpoint? I have enabled the connector for the variable so it appears as a device, but it looks like the setpoint fields of the Thermostat Scheduler only accept numbers. Any ideas how I can do this?

That works inside RM, but for me the Thermostat Scheduler app won"t accept special characters.
