Can I change a motion tile to red instead of green

Is there a way to change the motion tile (when it is in the alarm state) from green to red so it is better noticed?

I can not use a motion sensor as a door.... it shows up as a question mark. So am i stuck with grey for inactivity and green for motion?

As far as I know like @corerootedxb stated you can change them to any color you choose in the templates section, but motion sensors can only be changed for attribute only (active/inactive), not the attribute plus what mode you are in .

No. Don't change the type to door status. Just edit the Motion sensor template:
