Cameras for Floorplan project

I have a bunch of Wyze cameras and they are decent via the app …but integrating into a home system isn’t great. I was able to get motion detection via IFTTT. When I tried to at least get a snapshot from camera using the Wyze bridge running in Docker I could not ( I should say Claude could not get anything to work. Has ANYONE gotten this working reliably? I have V2Pan,V2,V3,V3Pan.

I bought a Tapo C200 and Claude was able to get picture and video working in my home floorplan project using RSTP ( it could not get their custom interface to work). It can even pan from the floorplan webpage. I have not figured out how to do motion detection. The C200 is indoor only but only $18 much cheaper than Wyze (although a little bigger)

So my question is …is there any way to get Wyze working with the Wyze bridge docker thing or has anyone had good luck flashing older RSTP code on Wyze cameras and if so what models will work

Thanks

Tim

fyi here is the floorplan and camera

I've not tried it but in the Wyze forums they have new RTSP beta firmware available.

I've used the rtsp firmware in the past with mixed results. It also depends on the cameras. If they are OG cameras then there is no rtsp firmware available.

If the OP has a spare Android device then you could run Tinycam pro and pull in the cameras into TinyCam and then set up the TinyCam server to feed them into HE. I haven't personally done this but from what I've read it should work, though it's not an elegant solution.
