Since getting a C7 - it has always been a hassle to go through the additional steps to pair devices without security. Will the C8’s 800 chip make any difference to that process, or will we still need to tart around with the a USB stick paired as a secondary controller and the PC controller software to include those devices affected?
PS: I realise that it was always a Silabs issue rather than Hubitat.
If the device is S0 only, this is still the case.. However if you have already included them on C-7 you can migrate them as is for free.
Side Question on secondary controller (Zooz S2) - will it migrate (C-7 to C-8) or will I need to remove it first?
ZWave table should migrate intact with no additionally pairing needed.
