C8 reporting 100 mb connection on gigabit switch

I understood the C8 was gigabit capable but nothing I've tried gets a gigabit connection. Only a 4 ft cat 6e cable connected directly to the router. Have tried different cables. Any ideas?

Yes, the hub’s network interface is 100mbps.
