C8 Pro no longer accesible after soft reset attempt

Hi,
I got a new C8 Pro and after a failed migration from one of my C-7's to the C8 pro I tried to do soft reset of my C8 Pro. The hub went into reboot and likely got stuck as since that time I'm unable to connect to it or see it even connected on my router with IP. I did try to push the network reset button for few times for 7sec. and longer with no success. trying to find the device using the https://findmyhub.hubitat.com/ doesn't discover the C8 hub but only other 2 C-7 ones which I have on the network. tried also restarting multiple times the hub via power-cycle - blue light is turning Green but nothing more.
Any idea if this is a dead unit or is it possible to recover it somehow?

If the light is green, then that means it is working. Are you able to see the IP address that your router provided to it? If so, you could likely use that to connect to it.

No, that's the thing, I don't see new device or IP in the Router.
Any idea if soft reset remove also the static IP configuration?

Soft reset doesn’t change the IP address, but pushing the network reset button does. However, if you’re able to access the hub to soft reset it, then you would have already resolved the issue…

Are you able to have your router assign a specific IP to the hub’s MAC address? (It’s hard wired MAC can be found on the bottom of the hub.)

Then rebooting the hub should trigger it to use this IP address, which should then be accessible either directly (or via the hub’s IP followed by 8081 for the admin console).

Sorry for the confusion, I had only initially access to the hub after the initial setup, this is when I set it up with static IP but then I did the soft reset, this is when the hub got messed up andI lost access after. I did try clicking the network reset button multiple times holding it more than 7 seconds with no luck.

after few more restarts and network resets the hub can back online and now accessible - database file was corrupted and after initiating another soft reset it is back to a working state.
