I see this was a question before, I want to fully turn off wifi of the C-8 Pro. I don't need it so there's not point to have it turned on making my system vulnerable. I recently saw that my c-8 is listed in the nearby bluetooth devices too. Assuming its a combined wifi/bt device . I don't need BT either though I need a secure system. Please tell me how to turn both these fully off.
(connecting on RJ45 to a network does NOT turn the interface fully off (I still can see wifi networks in the dropdown) )
thanks!

I'm reading that it should turn itself off when connected to ethernet. However there is a method to force it off.
Method to disable Wi-Fi
- Connect your Hubitat C8-pro to a Wi-Fi network by navigating to the network settings in the Hubitat UI.
- Once connected, disconnect from the Wi-Fi network through the same settings menu.
- Re-establish the Ethernet connection.
- The Wi-Fi radio should now be disabled, and it will not turn back on unless the Ethernet connection is lost
I'm also reading that BT is low power (BLE) and it is only used for matter commissioning, and there is no security risk as it is not the type of bluetooth that allows things to connect to it.
