I have received a Hubitat C8 Pro that is already registered to someone else. I bought it from Vesternet, here in the UK where I live. I'm really disappointed as having a network device, with control resting with someone else, is a bit of a problem. Not what we want at all. I've raised request to return with the supplier (Vesternet) and had an automated response. I did think they'd maybe be in touch today with the RMA to return, but have heard nothing and now we're entering the weekend. Does anyone have any advice? It's very odd - never had this with anything before.
Amazon has a history of doing that in the US (occasionally reselling a returned hub as new), I’m sure it’s possible Vesternet might do something similar but I’m not in the UK so can’t speak from experience.
