C8 hub reporting "Severe hub CPU load detected" every 12 hours after a reboot

Hi Everyone, I wanted to report this error to see if I can get some help in resolving it. I reviewed all other similar messages on this forum, and have tried a few of the suggestions without success.

Over the last 2 months my C8 hub (Platform Version 2.3.7.140) has been reporting "Severe hub CPU load detected" daily. If I reboot my hub through settings, the light will stay blue until I pull the power cable and plug it back in. After the hub is back online the Sever CPU load message comes back after 12 hours. If I reboot the hub, within that 12 hours, before the Severe CPU load message is given, the hub will reboot fine without the need to pull the power cable.

If I had to pinpoint when this issue started, it would be after the update to Platform Version 2.3.6.144. I was previously on PV 2.3.5.152 without issues. I have added no new devices or apps/automations since long before the update to 2.3.6.144. After discovering the issue I have been updating to the latest PV, when available to see if the next update would fix this issue, but so far it has not helped.

I only have the Zwave radio turned on, Zigbee and Matter are disabled.

I have tried a few things to try and figure out if an app or Device has been the source of the issue, but none of these steps have helped resolve the error.

  1. Fixed 2 broken rules in Rule Machine 5.1
  2. Backed up and restored the hub through the settings and rebooted.
  3. Deactivated Apps that had a high busy % (Primarily apps that monitor power usage for notifications)
  4. Deactivated Devices that report power usage
  5. Removed all devices from Maker API
  6. Logged out and back in on my mobile devices. I tried this because the Mobile App Manager was at some point running at over 30% usage in the App Stats

I have not yet tried a soft restart through the diagnostics tool, or tried to restore to a previous version. I wanted to see if I can figure out what the root cause may be, before reverting back to a previous version.

Are there any other steps I should take to try and resolve this issue, before doing a soft reset and/or reverting back to a previous platform version?

Can you PM me the hub id? I can check the engineering logs on the hub.

Thank you, I just sent you a PM with my Hub ID.

Thank you Victor Urvantsev for your help on this issue. After updating my C8 hub to the latest release of 2.3.7.144, the hub has not reported any severe loads.
