The first 3 lockups were with earlier firmware versions.
Symptom:
Hub green light is illuminated. Will absolutely not connect normally or through any port. When power is removed the hub works on repowering.
Hub is wired to Router.
Hub was put into service in March 2023. Has been solid since then.
Have already:
Can you tell if automations are still working when it goes offline?
After restarting, check the past logs, is there still log activity while it was offline?
Automations NOT working. Time based RM rules not working. I have two diff mfg buttons, neither worked, Alexa didn't work.
Logs did not show any entries after a much earlier entry when the hub was still working.
Although I know the database can be corrupt after a non programmed shutdown, every thing seems to work fine with only the power off then power restored.
Thinking back, not all the freezes happened at the same time each day. However I usually notice a frozen condition when some light that was supposed to go on, didn't.

It is happening after long periods of uptime without reboots?
Are you tracking any stats on the hub like free mem or database size?
Check your logs > device and app stats, sort by state size. Anything excessive looking? My highest is Hub Info driver at 16k.
Just having a thought that maybe the database is filling up with states to the point it locks up. Maybe need to adjust the amount of history being kept on devices with a lot of state changes.
My experience has been, in terms of greatest reliability
C4 > C7 > C8
I was reluctant to do the C8 pro after much reading here.
My hub is pretty much coasting.... (see below)
As for rebooting, the only time the hub gets rebooted is when there's a firmware update. It has run for months without a hitch.

Did the problem return? I've had 2 freeze events in the past month or so, and haven't had that happen in the past.
