How will the homekit integration be affected by migration? Will the C8 essentially adopt the properties enough of the C7 that I won’t have to re-setup my homekit automations?
Yep.... My migration kept everything going on homekit.,

In our internal migrations, as long as old hub is either taken down or its QR and pairing code are reset (the link to do it is in the Advanced section at the bottom of the integration), there was no further action needed. That pairing code is kind of like a device id for HomeKit, so as long as new hub keeps the same code and there is no code collision between two devices, it should be seamless.
