C8 - 2.4.0 Everything was fine < till lock stopped working

So the new problem with 2.4.0 my [Kwikset Home Connect 620] stopped reporting.
Never had this problem with ANY of the 2.3.9 vers of software.
It was working fine for awhile .. then just stopped updating.
It still worked from devices. I could open and close the lock < but never updated the status.
Nothing in logs, dash would not update,. I tried everything..

Rebooted
Rebooted the lock < pulled battery.
Reset the driver < using stock z-wave lock driver

So I went back to : 2.3.9.201 And Now works just fine.

Which other driver had you tried?

Same driver I have always used : Generic Z-Wave Lock
I " reset it " By changing to device cleared all states, Then picked Generic Z-Wave Lock again.
Weird part it seemed to work kinda, but would not update.

FWIW, there are no z-wave radio chases changes in 2.4.0; I have 5 of Kwikset 620 deadbolts, and they’ve been fine. All included with SmartStart.

Yeah I updated 12/23/2024 6:45:02.686 pm Everything worked ok.
On : 12/29/2024 Stopped working.

Been on 2.4.0 since the first public beta.

Usually, when something happens several days after you’ve installed a platform version, I’d start by testing whether there has been a change in your zwave mesh.

For example, that a previously functioning repeating device hasn’t stopped functioning as a repeater. That there’s no sudden increases in route changes or error rates.
