I am now in the situation were I have a device that is failing for an unknown reason, does there exists any documentation that explains the steps that are needed to replace the device?
I see this option in the GUI but can't seam to find out what is needs to be done from the Device and Hub perspective.
Has someone really tested this out? does it really work?
I have used it successfully.
If memory serves me I first made sure the new device was excluded by putting the hub in exclude mode and putting the new device in exclude mode.
When excluded I then hit the replace button for the device I wanted to replace and then put the new device in include mode.
I'm not sure if it worked first time or not but I definitely got it to work.
