C7 went offline and logged out (Remote disable?)

Hi

Had a strange thing happen on my C7 hub today, nothing was firing and logging into the hub. The Zigbee radio was off and the network had changed to 11 (from 25)

I rebooted it but it didnt fix the issue. Trying to turn the radio on, just gave a spinning circle and it never turned it on, few more reboots and nothing.

I went into the Diagnosis Tool, put in my MAC address and clicking around I got prompted for a username/pwd which I entered and it then logged into my account.

Then everything started up again! So now I'm wondering does the Hubitat have a remote disable kind of function? Why would I have to log into my account for it to start up again, is this not all local?

Not had anything like this before so just wondered what happened. The log only says the zigbee radio is offline at 02:50am

Many Thanks

It sounds like an unfortunate chain of events tied together by coincidence. Here are my thoughts of what happened:

No

Probably stumbled on Reboot Hub?

If you rebooted the hub from the Diagnostic Tool and you have the local security enabled on the hub, then upon rebooting, the hub will ask you to log in

Perhaps that rebooting the hub restarted the Zigbee radio, which is the first event you've encountered. Why the Zigbee radio went offline is unknown and requires further investigation. it could be that your hub may have a hardware malfunction or some devices within your mesh are misbehaving.

Thanks for you reply. Yes seems really strange, I guess it got stuck rebooting and the login kicked it back into life. I have a C8 just arrived as a backup but thankful this fixed itself and I don't have to re-pair all my devices! On the positive side, the blip has forced me to take screenshots of all the settings just in case, so I have those to hand now! Thanks
