Also I have no cloud connect as well. I de registered my other hubs and only now list the C8 Pro. But I cannot figure out how to fix these problems.

Im guessing HPM is looking at the old C7 tokens and fails.??

Issue is more likely your internet/cloud connection

Yep… I expect that will be it…

I suspected the main issue is I have no cloud connection.

So what do I have to do to get connected?? I never had this problem with my C5 or C7 hubs.

I'd start with

And then do a Ping test to make sure the hub is getting to the internet.

Are you using a simple nat router or a firewall?

I have a router and a firewall.

I did a Ping test. Both for cloud.hubitat.com and for my.hubitat.com. Both pings replied ok. Even a random website ping replied ok.

So maybe I am indeed connected to the cloud. How do I 100% verify I am connected.

Right now 2 things happen. I cannot get the Hub latest update. Tried many time day and night and never get past 0%.

Next HPM which says I have updates available, fails to open. The log reports….

Refreshing repository list

So at this point I don’t know which way to go. The C8 Pro is otherwise functioning normaly.

Make sure hubitat has access to all outbound ports. Not just ping. What firewall do you have?

That makes perfect sense. I will say with my C7 running, I never had any of this trouble.

That being said, I have Bitdefender firewall on my Desktop PC. My TP BE 550 router has a builtin firewall which is set as default. I never added any rules to it.

I also have no idea what ports the C8 uses anyhow.

I’m thinking that your c8’s ip and/or MAC isn’t authorized to go to local>any external (or what similar your firewall uses. That would be any port)

I am not sure why that would be the case. I would have had to specifically created a rule or exception for this MAC address restrictions.

That never happened. My C8 was simply added as yet another LAN device, same as when I added my C5 or C7 in the past.

I don’t think my PC would take it upon itself to flag it as blocked from the normal web ports. Plus it pings fine, and the Hubitat phone app works fine.
