Morning, I’ve trying to add a Shelly wave 2pm to my c7 and I’ve noticed the Shelly is an 800 chip. Does this mean that it won’t connect to the c7 due to it being 700 chip controller?
It will connect fine. The issue will be is there a driver for it
Sadly doesn’t get to the initialising stage at which point I could then change the driver to one I know that works. Might be too far from the hub in this case
Possible.... Also factory reset it then for giggles exclude it first. Also what does your z-wave details page look like?
Doesn’t get to the pairing stage so not a lot!
Are there any ghosts in your z-wave details page is what I'm trying to see
ah, there one devices in there that has a discover button in the device column this must be the switch. Should i try pair it using the buttons in z wave details page?
No you need to remove that ghost before pairing anything else. Can you post your z-wave details page in it's entirety? (Use windows snip)
ah ok, thing is it could be the other shelly device i tried adding too! heres the z wave set up currently
Hard to tell. Click refresh on that line then click the remove button. If it won't remove you'll need a z-wave stick to remove it.
refreshed, nothing happened so I've removed it, tried repairing now still no joy. I think I'll try bringing the hub closure when I have more time and see if that helps
If you removed that device that had the discover button on it, that is good. That was a ghost and they will hose your mesh. At this point factory reset the device, run an Exclude on it, then include.
