I lost power on the hubitat the other day, and although i can access the devices in the dashboard, i can't make changes in the dashboard (ie: can't adjust thermostats). But if i make a change on the physical thermostat itself, the hubitat sees the change and updates the dashboard
I have repaired the database and rebuilt the zwave network - no dice.
All devices - it as if the system is in read-only mode. The dashboard updates when I manually make changes at the physical device, but I can't make any changes through the dashboard.
Do things work if you try directly from the device detail page? Dashboard should just show and control the same things, but if you're dealing with a problem, the device detail page is the authoritative source and an important step in figuring out where the problem is.
If they don't: can you narrow it down, like maybe it's just Z-Wave devices?
have you tried shutting the hub down, unplugging power for about 30 seconds or more, and then unplugging it back in to restart? This will fully power down the radio, unlike a regular reboot or shut down.
Not sure I ever saw if you "rebooted" any problematic Z-Wave devices. It's a bit odd that it's seemingly everything, though. If you can pinpoint any particular device that might be taking down your mesh (excessive power reporting, S0 if you don't need it, etc.) or any other hub problems, that may also help.
For anyone that finds this thread, I rolled back a version to 2.4.2.138 (thankfully still had the backup). And i created a new dashboard. That combo of steps fixed it for me.
