Good Afternoon,
My trusty C3 seems to have a problem. A couple of months ago it stopped responding and I rebooted it. It took several attempts and the warning light on the front alternated between red and blue. Once back on line, it said the database was corrupted, and I restored from a backup. Everything was fine for a few weeks, now again it is not responding and the warning light comes up immediately with a red light only.
I’ve tried all the usual, unplug at the source, wait and then re-plug and restart, change the network cable etc. Nothing seems to work. I’m unable to try a different power source because this particular hub uses a barrel connector and I don’t have another one that would work. I had already moved all my zigbee and zwave devices to my other hubs, once the C7 came out with improved zwave performance. All hubs are cover with hub protect. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Thank you, that way my first thought also. I submitted a request 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything so I thought maybe I might have missed something obvious.
Hubitat is my third home automation system. I started on casa verde, moved to smart things, and then landed on Hubitat. It is by far the most flexible system for adding devices of all types and rule machine is great. Of course, I had backed up all my rule machine rules and ABC button mappings, so I could start over with a new C8 Pro and move everything from my C7 to that one, but it seems like overkill, since the only things on C3 were internet related apps.
