I set up my hub the other day and am converting from ST. I have both mine and my wife’s phones set to be used for presence detection. I have rules set up to change modes based on arrival departure of one or both of us. When we leave, the presence updates immediately when leaving the geofence area but when we come home, there is a 2-5 minute delay from pulling in our driveway. So that would me it’s even more delayed from entering the geofence. Does anyone have any ideas as to why one direction would function perfectly and the other is delayed?

IIRC the app polls the phone on a timed basis, so if you hit the cycle just right you get a quick response, but if you don’t …

So what is the recommended app/driver for immediate updating?
