I have successfuly converted from a C-7 to a C-8 however in the process my Google Mesh system changed the IP address of the Hubitat Hub. My Konnected alarm panels still are looking for the old address. I have asked Konnected for instructions on getting reconnected but am wondering if anyone else here has had that problem and solved it.
Thanks
Can you just change your IP address in the Google WiFI setting to assign the old IP address to the new hub?
as far as i know th econnected driver in hubitat polls the connected boards that are connected via wifi.. the hub address should not matter.
yes verified the konnected does not connect to the hub.. the hub has the ip addresses of your various konnected boards in the driver.. So what your saying makes no sense..
I may be on the wrong track but I know that the only thing not working after my C-8 migration are the Konnected zones. Been a trip down the rabbit hole for me today. At Konnected's suggestion I am in the process of deleting the boards, doing a factory reset and reconnecting, which requires setting up all the zones again from scratch. That's gonna have to wait until tomorrow.
Good luck i tested mine after converting and the konnected devices are still working. luckily.
Final Summary on my C-8 Migration. All went well except that my Google Nest Mesh changed the IP address of my new hub. That required updates to all my hacked Kindles using WallPanel. My Konnected boards also lost their connection. I won't go in to a lot of detail but it took some time to get that corrected but all is working now. This has apparently not happened to everyone with Konnected boards but if you are going to migrate to the C-8 and have Konnected I suggest you allow time to do some reconfiguration if necessary. I can offer more details on request but not going to waste space here.
