Dear all, I pulled out a C-5 I bought as a spare many years ago. It was running 2.08.113. The update to 2.51 kept getting stuck.
Searches led me to various URL’s to pull interim versions of the firmware, all of which lead to 404 errors. My platform pre-dated even these URLS. My diagnostic page didn’t have any of the options.
I finally found my way to http://HUB_IP/resetHub wherein in did a soft reset. The diagnostic page only gave me the option to switch between 2.08 or 2.51.
I did a Full Factory Reset and find myself in a situation where the hub is discovered, but cannot be connected to. The only page which responds is the IP/resetHub page which shows a blank field for the Platform Version, Rev C-5 for the Hardware version. I have a blue light.
I’ve self-supported myself into this corner. Is there a way out? Searches lead to so many conflicting and outdated results that don’t work or match my hub.
Thank you for the reply, but my firmware’s diagnostic / recovery pre-dates anything that can use those URLs to download earlier version. Any attempt at those results in a 404. Please look at the URL I had to use to get into the “diagnostic” screen.
What I’m need is a file I can upload to this hub to give it a platform. Whatever backend this older firmware was relying on appears to have been retired.
Nope, that doesn’t work. The hub has no Platform image at all at this point, so anything at HUB_IP gets no response. Anything on port 8081 doesn’t work with those URLs as the old diagnostic doesn’t have those folders. They lead to 404 errors.
