I migrated my Z-Wave+ devices from 2 C-4 to a C-7 and all my Zigbee devices on those hubs to a C-5. Minor glitches aside everything working as expected so far. I decided to repurpose one of my old C-4's to be just a Cloud/Network device hub. I removed the stick have Zigbee/Z-Wave shut off and only have the following devices/apps:
The issue is my basement picos respond to the first few presses and then becomes erratic and non-responsive. Not sure why.
I have a simple sequence in Node-RED that reacts to certain maker events - turns on the basement office light when buttons 1 or 2 are pressed and turns off the basement light when 3 or 4 are pressed (4 button pico). The NR logs show the same as the HE Logs - the second button "1" press gets skipped over.
The above logs are weird - all I did was clear everything and went down to the basement office and pressed "1" and the light turned on, then pressed "4" and the light turned off, then pressed "1" again and nothing happened then pressed "4" again. I was careful to note the Pico LED was blinking for each press.
The Echo Skill app has become unreliable as well. When I first set this up I could turn the Hub Mesh device "Den Lights" on/off, set color all good. Now sometimes it works sometimes it does not.
Note: I recently installed the Homebridge plugin app but the issue predates it so am not sure thats the issue.
I am thinking about switching over to a spare C-5 as the C-4's seem to be increasingly unreliable for whatever reason. May try a soft reset first...
NOTE: The main/laundry lights thing at the beginning is just my motion sensed lighting when I walked downstairs to test. "Main Lights" is a Lutron switch and "Laundry Lights" is a Lutron Dimmer. That seems to be working normally.
