So I’ve setup a couple of devices now but can’t seem to do much more with them. If I go into the device settings the “buttons” do nothing for me. For instance when my mouse hovers over the “configure” button it changes color but if I click on it nothing happens… Is it supposed to or am I just confused?
I’ve tried in both Chrome and Safari and nothing…
You don’t see ON or OFF states reported on the right?
For the outlet I added, yes. For the fan I added, no. If I click the “off” button for the outlet it doesn’t turn off.
None of the gray rectangular buttons in the device edit screen do anything.
Your hub firmware is 702? If you change those device types to “Virtual Switch” (just as a test) and you do or do not see a result when clicking on/off?
Yes, 1.0.2.702.
So I went into the fan settings and changed it from "Hampton Bay Zigbee Fan Controller" to "Virtual Switch". The buttons, on and off, reacted to clicks after that. I then switched it back to "Hampton Bay Fan Controller" and now all the buttons work. All the buttons work for the outlet too.
Alexa control now works too.
