This is kind of an old thread when I’m reading it (July, 2023) and i don’t suggest you change anything. I’m just writing this as it might explain why you needed the on and then dim command. At least from my experience, and it seems others from posts I’ve read, the % needed to get a light to turn on may be higher than how low you can dim it and have it stay on. I see you are dimming it way down to 5%. That is, it may not turn on directly to 5%, but if it is on you can then dim it to 5%. That is what I believe the reference to “pre-staging” above was referring to.
