It appears to not consider what network you are on based on subnet mask
my hub ip is 192.168.11.109 mask 255.255.254.0 ie /23
net
This would include 192.168.10.1-192.168.10.254 and 192.168.11.1 to 192.168.11.254
The app is only looking at your net not the subnet to figure out what to scan

after posting this saw the modify lan configuration option where you can specifiy another subnet.. that seems to have fixed it..
sorry i just assumed it figured out the data from the ip and mask which is possible.
