I had a simple rule 5.0 rule on a C4 with 2.2.8.156 which I could not edit the rule actions - I would always get an error 500. I noticed I had "display current value" turned on. I shut that off and I could edit the actions of the rule. I then turned display current values back on and an immediate err500. I can no longer bring the rule up.
Are you using any custom drivers? Just guessing that maybe a device that produces an attribute value in an unexpected format might cause this error. I haven't noticed this problem in any of my rules so far, so just trying to guess at what it might be for you...
Can you post a screenshot of the rule?
Unfortunately i can't load the rule....i get an err500. I made what i thought was a similar rule but haven't been able to duplicate the problem.
