The Library Definition in the Hubitat documentation states:
The
name,namespace, anddescriptionparameters are the only required parameters
Attempting to create a library with just those fields produces the error:
author cannot be empty in library section
While this is a documentation error, keeping manually written documentation in sync with the codebase is playing whack-a-mole. It would be a major improvement if the error message was something like:
author cannot be empty in library section.
The required fields are:
name
namespace
description
author
so this becomes self-documenting as required fields are added.
