I've made the same decision for the same reason. My remotes are code hopping and they are beautiful, and my morning routine of pushing the up button, and evening routine of pushing the down button no longer makes me feel like a caveman.

@tomw - Thank you for this integration. I was able to finally find a reason to utilize my old RMmini3. I am using it to control an RGBW LED light on my wife's new aquarium. Now, nobody has to worry about turning on/off that light each day.

I have been using this for a while with an RM 3 Mini. The unit stopped working a few weeks ago. I got around to looking at it today and I could not get it to respond.
So I decided to factory reset it. I did this and got the rapid flashing. Then I held the reset for about 5 seconds and got the slower flashing.
I went into the Broadlink app and ran through the add device. I was able to see the wifi on my phone and selected it. Switched back to the app and it had acknowledged that the wifi was connected by automatically clicking the continue button at the bottom. And nothing. It just sticks there. And the led switches to fast flashing.
So I tried it a couple of more times. Is my unit bad or is there something else I can try? Thanks.
Did you check that the IP stayed the same when you reconnected it to the Broadlink app? I would recheck in the settings on Broadlink to check current IP. Is the device still set to be unlocked in settings as well? That may of been reset when you added it back to Broadlink.
I am forcing the IP through the router so I don't think that is an issue. The RM Mini is not showing up now in my router, it shows it as offline. So I don't think it is completing the wifi connection successfully.
I don't know if it is relevant but the LED on the front is so dim I actually have to turn the lights off in order to do all of this because I can't see whether it is flashing or not.
I remember when I first pulled it out of retirement about a year ago it was tricky to get connected.
Clearly the Broadlink app is seeing it because when I select the device wifi on the phone and return to the app I see it attempt to proceed automatically but then it just gets stuck.
I will keep trying.
Have you tried changing out the wall adapter that is powering it? I would say it is either the power supply or the device that is bad.
I have several Broaklinks, but I also added a Tuya Zigbee blaster to the mix, if you end up needing to replace it. The Zigbee blaster works surprisingly well. There is a driver for it in the community, which I modified to be a drop-in replacement the Broadlink driver, with matching command names. Mine was like $8 on AliExpress, but they are still cheap on Amazon.
I did check the power supply but I don't have any other 1amp supplies around so couldn't switch it out. I read that it is picky about this.
I will check the zigbee unit out. I see that it is battery powered? Does it report battery level?
BTW - no cheaper on Aliexpress any more - "import charges included"!
Ah, the one I have is usb powered, I guess I linked to a battery one? That is a good option though when wires are an issue.
Seems like they have replaced the USB powered version with battery powered. I did find some on Ali for cheaper. I also ordered a battery eliminator just in case I need it. Thanks
This is the Zigbee driver by Sean Anastasi aka luckygerbils I'm not sure who they are on Hubitat or in what thread I initially got the link.
This is my modification of the driver, changed to conform to Broadlink command names, and I added a reps option to sendStoredCode(). The idea is this can be swapped in to replace a Broadlink device, and the commands will still work in the automations and apps that used the Broadlink commands.
New RM4 Pro user here...
I've read the readme carefully and used it to successfully bring a small handful of RF buttons in Hubitat. What I don't understand (conceptually) is what the purpose of the system manager app is. Seems like the virtual device allowed me to learn/capture the button, and it allows me to send the button-push, so what else is there?

I tomw, sorry to bother you again , I had a problem with my hub so I Restore it from a wrong backup and I try to add my RM4 Mini again but it stuck on Initializing state I try to hit Initialize a couple times but no success, can you help me with that, I was successfully configure a switch in the Rule Machine and it was working perfectly with your help.
Any IP address changes?
