Brilliant Smart RGB+W (20741) Bulb

Hi all,

I am very new here and am in the process of moving my whole home automation project from the cloud to local with Hubitat. I have hit a wall with the Brilliant Smart RGB+W (20741) Bulb . I have flashed my initial bulb to Marcus's Tasmota Hubitat v8.1.0 firmware with success. I am now stuck with being able to control the globe from Hubitat. I will not go into all the paths I have explored as it would take far too long to explain.

Has anyone had any success with the Brilliant Smart RGB+W (20741) Bulb . I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

@craig.allen.20 the new drivers are almost ready for release, the documentation is being finalized and is the only things that has been missing for the past 6 weeks or so. Hopefully it will be ready this weekend. The bulb you're talking about will work very easily with the new driver. The template to use is this one.

Markus, thank you for the update. I will wait patiently for the update.

Hi @markus , Soory to keep asking questions still very new to all this. I have started to prepare my devices for the new T4HE updates but have run into a few challenges.

  1. The link to the Tasmota with Hubitat enhancements version 8.1.0 resolves to a 404 error page.

  2. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/markus-li/Hubitat/development/apps/expanded/tasmota-device-handler-expanded.groovy does not resolve to a page but, I did find Tasmota Device Manager @ https://raw.githubusercontent.com/markus-li/Hubitat/development/apps/tasmota-device-manager.groovy is that the correct file?

  3. When installing https://raw.githubusercontent.com/markus-li/Hubitat/development/apps/tasmota-device-manager.groovy with cut an paste it comes up with "unexpected char: '#' @ line 3, column 1." after saving and does not appear in the app code list.

That's as far as I have progressed that far trying to go one step at a time.
Thanks

That's because it is wrong, I've updated the wiki: Tasmota with Hubitat enhancements version 8.1.0

Recent change, not yet updated.

Not the right file to install, from my repo, if it doesn't have "-expanded" in the end, it won't work. Use this.

As mentioned before, this is not yet released and I have been delayed in releasing since I've not had time to do my part of the docs yet.

I've added you to the closed bet thread, ask questions there after having read all information available.

@markus, apologies for getting ahead of you. App installed perfectly.
