I have a couple of these motion sensors in my house and they seem to work fairly well. At least for my use case. But there are 2 glaring issues I've run across:
- Battery is never reported. I get temperature, tamper and motion aok. But battery never seems to be reported.
- Each and every hub reboot the sensors stop reporting in. This really sucks because the only fix that I've found is to get up on the ladder, pull the batteries and re-pair.
Has anyone else come across this? If so, what's the fix?
