I have a bond fan and am using the integration and it has worked great. Recently, it started dimming intermittently and I cannot figure out why. There is nothing in the logs, and I have updated both the fan and hubitat to the latest versions. Anyone have any idea what could cause this?
Can you explain in more detail what you mean?
The light on the fan is dimming? Always to the same level? Always dimming down? Or sometimes up? Is this a fan with Bond built in or a dumb fan with Bond bridge?
A more detailed description of the behavior you’re seeing could be helpful.
Also do you see anything in the device’s “events” page associated with these dimming episodes? Devices don’t always create log entries, but if Hubitat is involved at all in these episodes, there should be evidence of that in the device events.
The light on the fan dims down to 0 very quickly and immediately comes back to full. It is a dimming, not sudden cut-out. It lasts less than a second. It is a fan with a "Smart by bond" device in the fan canopy. Nothing is in the events or logs, so I guess it may be a bond issue.
