Does anybody make a device much like the Broadlink RM4 that can learn/send Bluetooth commands?
All I really want is to be able to have Hubitat turn on and off an Apple TV device without a phased out Harmony Hub.

Couldn't you just actually use an RM4, and teach the TV some codes to use?

Edit: Maybe not. I guess that is just to teach it codes for a receiver...
Or can you?
Home assistant can do this over IP and Hubitat can tell HA to do it too.
Thanks...trying really hard to keep a single point of control.
I feel this. You can also use a zigbee/zwave outlet and cut the power to the Apple TV. Itβs not perfect, but i might be able to get the job done.
Personally i use both HA apple tv control and a zwave outlet for different Apple TV automations. I keep the automations in HA super simple just so that it can pass the right info back to hubitat. All of my real logic happens in RM. I agree, automation sprawl can make things too confusing.
The good news is that I had a Zooz appliance switch that reports power almost instantly and can decern between 1.234 and 1.235 on power usage ![]()
I can nail what I need in a rule.
That said. Hopefully one day they make things like TV's that have separate commands for things like power/ambient mode/etc instead of only toggles.
