My Habitat will not connect to the network. Only one light shows on the Ethernet port, and it is the one that indicates a connection to the LAN. However, the device does not seem to be physically communicating with the network. Have tried different network ports, cables, power adapters, and nothing works. Tried the reset button, and that does not work either. There is no way for me to try anything one the app or in the config menus, because I cannot get a basic connection. Can you please help?
Can you describe in more detail how you’re attempting to access the hub? Like which browser, OS, and the url you’re browsing to? Do you see any sign of the hub in your router’s admin interface?
You will need to figure out the IP of the hub, which if you look on your routers device list you should be able to find it. If not then you can also try arp -a from the command line, or use a network IP scanner app to find all devices on your LAN.
Possibly the https://findmyhub.hubitat.com/ tool might work as well, not sure if it can find it when the LED is blue. Try the advanced scan as well.
I have tried through the Hubitat phone app, through the browser at hubitat.local, and through the browser using last IP address that was assigned to the device. My LAN admin screen shows the device as last connected before it stopped working.
