Blue Iris alert across google home speakers

I used to have it working to so that in the evening if someone came on my drive blue iris would fire an alert off to Hubitat. Hubitat would then speak across my google home speakers that someone was on my drive. This hasn't worked for a while now and I am struggling to find any documentation on how i set this up in the first place to see if something has changed! Is there a guide on how to set this up?

Install the google chromecast integration. Then under notifications pick the speaker

Thanks, i have it installed and integrated already. I think the bit that has gone missing the local end point information from hubitat and Blue Iris in the Blue Iris alerts. I cannot find a guide on how to check / set this part up.

Go to your rule in RM, and the trigger will be a "local end point". Go into the trigger section of the rule and select edit trigger. This will open up a new screen where you will be able to see the address of the current "local end point". At this point there is no need to edit or change this address, simply make a note of it.

Go to your Blue Iris, and double click on the camera view that you want to trigger with hubitat. The following screen will open:

(It may not open on the Alerts tab, if this is the case simply select the "Alerts" tab)
From the Alerts tab, press "On trigger..." and this is where you enter the local end point you made note of earlier.

Thanks, figured it late last night and worked as you describe. Now I just need to make sure wind and rain don’t trigger it like they did last night :joy::roll_eyes:
