I have a few Shelley tough BTHomeV2 buttons connected to my hub that have stopped reporting to the hub after the latest 2.4.4.155 update. The update had a Bluetooth stack upgrade in it.
I’ve tried battery pulling the fobs as well as restarting the hub and they just refuse to communicate anymore. Anything else I can try?
I tried removing the Bluetooth integration app and re-adding it and it just doesn’t see any packets from the buttons. Possible hub bug?
Enable all device logging for your buttons, and enable logging (if there is a setting) for the integration app, open a live logs page and then press the buttons and capture screen grabs of what shows up in the logs for the buttons and the integration and copy it here.
Hey I have enabled logging but nothing is showing. No discover or anything. As a last resorts I powered down the hub, let it sit for a few minutes and powered it back up. That seems to have fixed things.
So that's a common fix for radio issues, at least for Zigbee an Z-Wave the only way to fully restart the radios is shut down/pull power/wait 30s/restart. Appears that applies to the BT side of things as well, which I guess makes sense. Good troubleshooting.
